Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Day Planner Pro (“we,” “us,” the “Service”), operated by Todd Ridgway and available at dayplannerpro.com, collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what the Service needs to function as a daily planner and journal:

Account information: your email address (used for sign-in via a one-time code).
Planner content: your mission statement, tasks, projects, habits, and habit logs.
Journal content: the daily reflections and journal entries you write.
Usage data: basic information needed to operate the Service, such as plan tier and trial status.

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Card information is handled entirely by Stripe (see below).

2. How we use your information

To provide the planner and journal, store your data, and sync it across your devices.
To send service emails about your trial, account, and subscription.
To send the optional daily reminder if you turn it on.
To process payments and manage your subscription.

3. Your content is not sent to any AI

Day Planner Pro has no AI features. Your journal reflections, planner entries, and notes are stored in our database (Supabase) so they sync across your devices, and they are not sent to any third-party AI provider (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) for processing or model training. Your writing stays private to your account.

4. Service providers we share data with

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the Service. Each receives only the data needed for its function:

Supabase — secure storage of your account and planner/journal data, and authentication.
Resend — delivers service and lifecycle emails (e.g., trial reminders).
Stripe — processes payments and handles all card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.

5. Account & data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

In the app: open Settings → Danger zone → Delete my account. For your protection we email you a one-time confirmation code; entering it permanently deletes your account, planner, journal, notes, habit history, and reminder settings, and signs you out.
By email: if you can’t access the app, email toddridgway@gmail.com from your account’s email address and ask us to delete your account. We’ll verify and remove it.

What’s deleted: your email address, mission, tasks, projects, habits and habit logs, journal reflections, and notes. Deleted data is removed from active systems immediately and fully purged from encrypted backups within 90 days. Records we are legally required to keep (for example, a Stripe payment or transaction record) are retained only as long as the law requires.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Request a copy of your data (you can also export your journal as a PDF from within the app).

7. Security

We use reputable infrastructure providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
